Tranny problems

Left axle seal was leaking, so I replaced it twice already and it still is leaking, so put the car on the lift and put in first gear. As I was looking at the axle the shaft was vibrating a bit, so now my assumption is that the axle it self makes the seal wear out. So what do you guys suggest I do replace it (why waste money on something you don't need)?

BTW the car is lowered so I think it would put extra wear on the cv joints.

yes you could be correct....there could be some problem internally with the axle. how many miles are on axles approx.? stock axles?

Try replacing the axle. Are you sure the leak is coming from the axle seal and not something like the rear main seal?

yeah I'm pretty sure it's the axle because tranny fluid is going down, and you can pretty much see where it's leaking out from. The axle itself got like 100+ kmiles on it so I think it's do to replacment anyways.
