Tranny Problems
Help Yall. Did a B18C1 swap in my Ek and I changed from a stock clutch to a complete street ACTClutch. Every thing seems fine when I put it in. Bled the clutch, put oil in the casing. Shifted fine when engine is off, but when I turned on the engine, it will not shift into any gear at all. With the clutch pressed to the floor the clutch still would not engage. Any info guys, on this would surely help? Pressure plate bolted on too tight? Clutch not bled right? Tranny Broke? Let me know folks? Thanks

Re: Tranny Problems (1-BAD-EK9-R)
Yeah everything seems fine. I used the alignment tool. Installed the new pilot bearings and release bearing too. Everything bolted right up. It goes in gear when the car is turned off, but when I turn on the car and the engine is spinning, then it's preventing me from shifting into any gears. Any suggestions?

Brand new ACT heavy duty pressure plate, new street disc, and New ACT prolite fly wheel. Got it as a complete kit, so everything is new, eeven the pilot and throw out bearings. Any other recommendations or possible error in my installation maybe?

It felt firm and I could shift into any gear when the engine is off. Only when the engine is on I can't shift to gear, any gear. It's like preventing me from shifting or something.

Re: Tranny Problems (Sanda1s)
to me it sounds like the clutch slave cylinder isn't pushing the fork or maybe it's not in right. i would check out the cylinder to see if it's in right and maybe have someone watch it as you step on the clutch...if not it's something inside the tranny...so have fun pulling it off again...

Thanks for the info peeps, I was hpoing it would be something easy. I guess it leaves me no choice, but to take off the tranny again. That was something I hope I would'nt have to do. Anyways it'll be fun.
