Tranny Problems

Im having some tranny problems and I was wondering if a 97 DX tranny fit in my 92 Si? My friend says it does but Im not sure. I know you guys will know.

any 92-00 Civic tranny will work.

But you'll hate life when you try that 96+ DX tranny.
