TRANNY PROBLEM!
I'm posting this for a friend. My friend has this problem with his car where he puts his car into gear but nothing would happen. He told me he even put his car into gear, and released the clutch but it didnt even stall out. What could be the problem?

Uhmmm, I'll assume that you and your friend are not very car savvy.
I would say the car needs a new clutch, but try in every gear to get the car going.
If another gear works, you need a transmission. If not, you need a clutch or clutch cable.
I mention clutch cable only because I do not know what year car we are talking about.
Good luck.

I wouldn't say we're not car savvy. It does it in every gear and we did assumed it was the clutch, but if the clutch went out, we wouldnt even have been able to put it into gear in the first place correct? Just making sure before we do anything to his car.
