Tranny leaking!

Tranny leaking!
I have an Si with stock b16. My tranny has been leaking a little bit of oil for a while. I have tried a few things to fix it. I tried to use those super HARD glue for meatal.... didn't work.... I tried the torquen down a little more on all the bolts on the tranny... didn't work. I'm planning to change the clutch and flywheel soon and using the opportunity of the tranny being out... I want to fix this problem. Can anyone suggest something? Thanks in advance!
I tried to tq these bolts down a little more but no help at all....

Re: Tranny leaking! (dohcteg)
Go buy some degreaser. Clean the hell out of it, drive it, jack it up and see where the leak is coming from. That is the lowest piont on your tranny, might not be the bolts at all. Might be the axle seal, or who knows. If, it is from those bolts, then you'll need to pop off the case, clean well, use some gasket maker, i use copper or black, and reinstall, following proper torque and sequence.

take the tranny down...unbolt and seperate that part where it is leaking...clean up the edges and put some form-a-gasket to seal it back up..
if your gonna do it...do it right...so you only have to do it once..and not worry about it...

yep, that will work it that is in fact where it is leaking from. It could be the axle seals too. Replace those for sure, that is a cheap easy fix.
