Default Tranny leak

there is this annoying leak about a table spoon everywhere i park, not to mention the nasty burning oil smell while driving. washed the whole bottom side to see where the leak is from and it seems to be originating from the sift shaft of the tranny where the shift linkage is pinned. someone told me it might be the seal for the shaft on the tranny. because the main place that gets oil is the shift linkage and the counter shift weights linkage. anyone could confirm that it might be the seal?

I accidently ripped the axle seal on the driver side. Had the same symtoms from similar location. See if that is what it is.
