tranny leak ?
I noticed a spot of oil on the driveway and found that my tranny is leaking where it meets the block, I was thinking rear main seal, but was wondering if anyone thinks it's something else.

Looks like the rear main seal to me. But at the same time it could be the mystery oil leak.
I have an oil leak like that and its bad *** hell. So one day i desided to drop the tranny and chance that rear seal. Well i drop the tranny and notice the clutch and flywheel clean like the day they were installed. And the rear main seal doesnt have a spec of oil on it. So the seal was fine. I still dont know where mines coming from.
Also check the PCV can on the back of the block, that helped me alot.

Either rear main seal or input shaft seal...go to napa and get some oil dye and dump in in the engine...if the oil shows up yellow under black light then its from the engine.
