tranny issues.

tranny issues.
I have a 2000 hatchback and im trying to put on a tranny from a 95hatchback.I cannnot get the shaft on the tranny to go into the motor ?? anyone have anyideas ?are the shafts different in someway ?

what difference does it make? you wanna help, say something useful. maybe he's putting in a Si tranny for the better gearing.
anyways, you sure you have the splines lined up correctly? it SHOULD go in... keep trying.

Make sure you don't accidently have a dowel pin stuck in the tranny as well as the motor in the same location. This could keep it from going flush. If not, just make sure its level with the motor and wiggle that **** into place and make sure the dowel pins line up.
