Default Tranny help!

Ok so I recently took a 5 hour trip and along the way, I heard my tranny grind while I was driving and it slowed down a bit, then like 2 seconds later same thing happened so I pulled over, then I remembered when I was pulling up to the tolls, it was getting harder and harder to get the car into gear, so yea I pull over and the car doesn't wanna go in gear, but after some force it went in, I again tried to move but it wouldn't, it would just grind but after some rev and clutch play it would start to roll then once it got rolling it drove fine for 8 miles, I get to the next rest spot and when my foot was off the clutch and I was in neutral, it would make a loud grinding/scraping noise, so today I pulled the tranny out and I looked at the throw out bearing and it was fine, I didn't take the clutch apart but it also looked fine, I also remembered when I went to drain the tranny, it only had a LITTTTTLE bit of tranny oil, like only enough to fill the bottom of a little bucked, what could it be?!
