tranny drainplug?! first one to get it right wins!
stupid no brainer question by me but for some reason i cannon remember which one is the tranny fill plug? i know the drain plug but is the fill hole 1, 2 or 3? i used to work at an oil change for a year and cant even remeber! i know the tranny takes 1.6 or 1.7 L but cant even remeber the fill plug!
btw its a b16b!

hmm which ones have crush washers on them.... that would be telltale sign they are meant to be removed/serviced. #2 is a plug removed to access the upper case snap ring, and #3 I believe allows you to gain access to another snap ring or detent ball, I can't remember, but for sure #1 is the fill plug its always behind the axle. It appears you have a bad axle seal as well, unless you already repaired that.

your suppose to fill it until fluid pours back out.
then that means its full.
I however use the vss because im lazy. i think its 2.8 quarts.

Not to be confused with "THE MAN"
#1 is the fill. And you had the drain labeled correctly. I think it is 1.9 qts of fluid. The other 2 plugs you had labeled are bolts that cover snap rings that hold the gear shafts I believe.

That's HT members working hard for you. You're better of referring to a $14 manual from autozone or pepboy. djsire is correct, bolt #1 is the filler bolt.
