tranny cooler

Depends on how many psi are u running and if ur tranny temp goes up when ur hitting boost.
A friend of mine for example had a gsr turbo'ed 20 psi. his tranny temp went up by 2 dots when he hitted boost cuz he had a lot of power, it never hurt the motor or nothing but it got hot, so after a while the clutch would slip cuz it got too hot. if ur aiming for big power get it.

Re: (boostedhks)
For manual cars no there isn't but you shouldn't need one I've seen 600whp setup and they dont need them. Look into your turbo not sitting to close to your head or having the manifold wrapped to keep it cooler.
Be careful this could be another under lying problem though. Head gasket, new rad cap, thermostat, air in coolant system will all show the same symptoms
First thing Id go after is the low temp thermostat and a new rad cap easy fixes but can make a huge difference. If not a new temperature sending unit or a low temperature fan switch so the fan will turn on sooner. Next would be a better fan the Honda one is really efficient but more power more heat is bad if you do not keep the temperature regulated. The motor naturally will build more head because the under-hood temperature is a lot higher. But like I said can be many different things.
Most important is what motor you running what style turbo setup and manifold and how many psi ? on the Forced induction forum you would have gotten a better response but details are necessary to make the right adjustments.

A tranny oil cooler isn't worth it, don't bother.

No, psi doesn't matter. Some people should have the internet taken away from them, like you.

Re: (Ek4 life)
You could wont help much you have a cast iron manifold which does retain heat a lot longer than a tubular manifold but 5 psi isnt much. Look into getting a lower temp thermostat and a a lower temp fan switch so it turns on a little sooner to keep the under hood temperatures lower.
