tranny compatibility ???
im more familiar with b series, but does the tranny out of a cx hatch mate with a ex motor? wasnt sure if the cx was a d series b/c the motors only 8 valve.

I believe only the 92 cx is 8 valve. I believe it will fit, but the gears will be very long and the car will feel much slower.

yea i know, i just didn't know if the series tranny would match the motor, i think a zc s20 tranny will match, but my buddy just has one from a cx hatch sitting there staring me in the face, so i'm just wondering before i pull the tranny and find out to my luck that the tranny isn't compatible....cause then i gotta release the trunk monkey on some folks
