tranny clutch kit question?? wich type to go with??
I have a 1997 civic ex with a b20b bottom end. b16 head and a gsr tranny....i was wondering about a clutch kit but i dont understand wich one to go with. im changing to stainless lines so i dont know if i have to go with a kit for an acura integra because the trans in from a gsr...

that part just kinda clicked in the back of my head lol
I should buy a new master and slave cyl...would i get one for a gsr or a si since its a gsr tranns...that the part that still confused me even though all b series parts are compatible...

they are, except for b20. it has a few odd things that makes it different from others. why do you need new slave and master cylinders?

going from a d series to a b series...i dont think my tranny came with them..i will double check in the morning...thats what i thought about the b series thing lol. looks like i can order that stainless lines after all lol thanks

i all ready have a clutch lol i have a stage 4 6 puck competition clutch and a 12 lb act flywheel. i just kinda wanna know more about hot to be compatible with slave and master cly's. i take it everything that says b series is going to be compatible i guess lol

the clutch doesnt change if the slave or master cylinder will be compatible. everything will bolt right up. just be sure to break in that clutch correctly or it will go from a rough clutch to terrible in a hurry. you havent felt clutch chatter til you break in a uck clutch wrong, you will think your car will fall apart.

so as long as its b series...it all should bolt right up?? i just plan to break in the motor and clutch slowly...no hurry to drive like an idoit when everything is breaking in and shiny new pistons plus ring.. Darton sleeving comp practically yelled at me about waiting 1000 miles before i go beat the hell out of my motor LOL
