Default which tranny is better for my b16a2..

which tranny is better for my b16a2..get a gsr tranny or just keep the b16a2 tranny..would the gsr tranny be shorter on my b16..thanks.

The B16 has shorter gearing.

lsd is expensive..haha..anyone with a usdm b16a2 tranny in here..wat's ur rpm when ur rollin on 80 mph on 5th gear..

Guys, he has an ls tranny on it right now. Thats not the best tranny.

I think my friend was at 3.5 or 4 at 80 but i could be wrong.

My EM1's rpm is like at 4-4.5k at 80 mph.

That's a bad idea for a b16 tranny, it' just too big of a jump and is really hard on syncros...Putting in an LS final drive or a GS-R 5th is a better solution.

yea i think i do have a ls tranny..when i shift from first to second and second to third..rpm falls to 6k..but when i'm drivin oh highway on 5th gear at 80mph, rpm is 3.5k..
