Default tranny for a 92 civic

my friend has a 92 civic dx with no motor in it but we are putting the stock one in and we need to know what we will have to do to put a cable tranny in it instead of the hydrolic one it is suppose to have. What will we need to change and will the cable tranny that is an si crx 5 speed tranny work on the 1.5 motor for that car. Please help me.

I'll 2nd that. Or better yet just buy a JDM d15b. They are cheap and quick and they will come with a trans.

http://hasport.com/catalog/pro...id=95

you may be able to find something a little cheaper but Hasport is pretty much the best in the business.
