Trailing arm removal (compensator arm bolts) ek
Need help on this... I got myself a rear disc brake swap assembly from a civic sir for my ek rear drums replacement... everythnig went well with removal of my old rear assembly... until i got to the compensator arm bolts... i know i can't take the bolt from compensator arm to the body off, without messing the toe angle... but i don't see how i can take the whole assembly off by removing the other bolt (from the compensator arm to the the trailing arm)... seem to me that none of my tools can reach easily that bolt... maybe someone here know how to do that... thx

Guess what you are removing the whole trailing arm and installing another one you are going to need to have the car aligned. What do you think happened when you took the bolts out of the trailing arm bushing. The toe went out of whack. Its really not a big deal just remove the bolts swap your arms and take it into a shop to have the alignment set

The best wrenches for that are gear wrenches but you can take off the entire thing just need some spray paint so you can see the exact bolt location it was already in and you will be ok. but you should still go get an alignment done.

+3 get an alignment. if you plan for it, it doesnt matter that you removed that bolt. so go ahead and do it and make life easier on yourself now you can look at the 1 in m/c from a 94-00 teg and larger booster with 4040 prop valve i got all that and next is the front brakes from a 95 teg (yes i have evereything from the spindles to the rotors )
