Trade D Motor for B motor...
Hey guys, give me the opinions.. My friend wanna trade GSR motors with Tranny for my Sohc motor with Greddy Turbo kit.. I told him that I will give him everything that I have on my motor and electronic parts...
I have EX motor with Greddy Turbo kit and IC.. It come with ACT clutch on DX tranny, BBK Fuel Pump, Hayame Fuel with GSR injectors, HKS BOV, Oil Cooler kit, Profec B boost controller, Greddy Turbo Timer, and MSD boost timing retard..
My friend have GSR motors with Stock Clutches.. It had AEM Intake, and AEM Fuel System...
Is it good idea to trade or not... Thanks

Id say go for it!! His motor has WAAAY less miles than yours and then you can turbo his and have more power than you did to begin with!

I think I will do it this week.. Probably on Friday or Saturday.. I will call my friend to arrange the day for us swap the motor.. Anyway I let u know.. Thanks for reply..

it depends, if you are into road racing, i would say swap it, better off in N/A for road racing
if you are doing Drag, stay in turbo
if you are doing Drag, stay in turbo

unless he owes you some large sum of money i dont see why youd accept a deal like that from your friend.... you might as well just keep the turbo give him the manifold and hook a battery operated fan up to it and call it turbo hell never know right?

If you don't, tell him i will, sure I don't have a turbo or anything for that matter, but hey he'll get better gas milage and I'll save him all that weight and trouble he could get into with his engine....
