Default TPS voltage problem

I've had a cel i've been meaning to take care of, PO122 Throttle Position Sensor Circuit Low Input, so I read my Haynes manual and do what it tells me to do. I checked the voltage at the ECM and all reads fine. I back probe the electrical connector to measure the voltage through the TPS and I can't seem to get a reading.

Is it possible to drive around with a dead TPS?

Help me pls, Electrical Gods!

BTW: 97 Civic HX. Mods: Short Ram Intake
