tps sensor q's
hey guys i got a b16 in my civic and i have a tps code
i was wondering if i could take the tps off of a b18b and put it on my b16 and work?
If i do this and it is the tps sensor thats not
good ,does it matter if the tps is installed correctly for the code to be on or off accuratley?

They are interchangeable.
Some sensors are riveted on, and some have star screws.
If its riveted on, cut slits and unscrew them with flat head screw driver.
If you dont know how to calibrate it, just put it in the center and start the car.
It might not be exact, but it wont throw a code.
Also, dont forget to clear the old code before you try it again.

Re: tps sensor q's (Slopoke)
thnx man i checked and i'm not sure if its riveted or not.
It looks like a little bubble. but the thing is it looks like a layer has been ripped off so i couldn't put a slit in it. li'm just wonderin if theirs 2 layers to the rivet so i can get new ones...
the bubble is metal.
