TPS sensor CEL code yet voltage reads that its working fine.
WHAT THE ****!!!
Why would my throttle position sensor say its bad but if I check the voltage on it its working fine. And when I slowly open the throttle the voltage slowly moves up to 4.5 as im told it should. What the **** am I supposed to do now?

Thats fine, what is the voltage with the throttle fully closed?

open/short in signal wire
isn't fully closed supposed to be like .4-.5V I might be wrong though, don't spend time adjusting those too much.

And thus you have your problem. Closed should be .5 volts. You need to adjust the TPS.

Simple. Remove the throttle body. Bust out a dremel with a cutting disc.. "Notch" the rivets similar to a flat headded screw. Insert a screwdriver and loosen it up. Plug in the TPS, back probe the center wire and turn the key on. Adjust it to .5 volts closed, tighten the screws up. You're done.

I ended up having to replace the tps sensor the otherone indeed ended up being bad and I also had to shorten the harness clip and soder some wires due to shorts and crimps in the harness connection.
Cars running great now.
