Default TPS question

on my b16 my tps was broke, went and got one from the junk yard off a DA, wend home. put it on, calibrated it but still have a code 7 and high idle.

is it possible for my tps to be bad but still give me a reading when I try and set it?

Where did you take the calibration measurements? Could be a bad wire between the TPS and ECU or even a bad ECU.

perfect ecu could be a possible bad wire. engine and ecu came out of another car of mine and I put it in my hatch.
