TPS,Charcoal Canister,Vaccum
Okay, i have a 97 hatch dx, my charcoal canister comes with only 2 hoses. One connected to the hardline, and other to my purge solnoid, then solnoid to the manifold. I have a poorman swap ,obd1 and i have caped off the hose in front of the manifold and rerouted/pluged the PCV hose to the back of the manifold.
Now i dont knwo what to do with my purge solnoid. its a sensor and can i leave it unplug? what i do with the purge hose?
Oh with the hose attached to purge solnoid and when i unplug the sensor for the purge solnoid the sound of the motor changes can i run with out it unplug? if i do need the sensor pluged what i do with the purge hose. want to bypass.
Okay having vaccum issues...
Not sure if my TPS is bad but when i unplug the sensor my car stops having idle bounce problem but then the cel comes on for it. when pluged it bounces. Does that mean its bad? I think i need a new tps and have it adjusted.
My fault for the 21 questions.

for purge control. i eliminated it cause there is no purge control sensor on my itr intake manifold and i just use the end caps to enclose the unused hoses. and they are fine. no problem
check all the gaskets for vacume leak(intake manifold gasket. tb gasket, all the hoses.). and clean your iacv. once u unplug tps sensor. cel will come on. thats normal. and it will go away once you plug it back on. and diy a CEL if it stays on.
pm me if you have any questions
