Default TPS bypass valve sucking in air

Is that bypass valve on the top side of the throttle body(above fitv bypass valve) supposed to be sucking in air? Or did I not tighten down my tps enough?

??? Are you talking about inside the tb or on the outside of the tb? You shouldn't be sucking any air from the outside of the tb execpt through the intake itself.

Its the upper valve inside of the throttle body. Right above the FITV bypass valve. I've searched and all I found is threads about the fitv sucking in air but nothing about the valve right above it. This is causing me to have a high idle, when I cover that hole with my finger the idle dies back down to normal.

Its a 94 h22a running on a p2t in an 00 si. None of that matters though man it was running perfect until I replaced the TB gasket and tps. Now that bypass hole on top is sucking in air and im bout to just tape that bitch closed.

That upper bypass valve inside the throttle body is for the IACV. Weird thing is I just cleaned it about 2 months ago. Ill have to check the vacuum lines on it later. Any other suggestions around the IACV I could check?
