Default Torque steer or not?

I dont know if im having a problem with torque steer or not. When ever i hit an irregularity in the road whether it is a little groove on the road or just the road crown itself my car gets drug all over the road. If I let go of the wheel the bitch wants to drive into the curb. I have 17" rims with 205 40 zr17 tires.
Any Ideas? or is this normal with low profile tires.

i did my own alignment after i lowered my car and installed ingall camber correction bushings. I am a ASE certified mechanic and the alignment specs are at 0 degrees camber on fronts and .12 degrees toe. my alignment is fine. i put my stock tires back on and its fine.

That is not torque steer. That's called bump steer. Torque steer is when u floor the gas and your car pulls to 1 side when u corner.

Those are the same tires I have Kumho ecsta supra 712's I only have about 8000 miles on them so far and they are just about shot. Have you had the same luck with yours. So is the bump steer is normal with the tires then?

Is the offset of your 17" wheels correct for the car? They might fit, but is it mathematically correct? An incorrect offset will accentuate bump steer. Also, lower profile tires like to "track" a bit more, and follow grooves in the road, since the tire itself is less flexible overall.
