torque converter??
i have a '98 civic ex a/t and i was wondering what a torque converter would do for my car. does anybody know a lot about these? i hear theyre pretty pricey and almost as much as an auto-to-manual tranny swap except the t.c. is alot easier to install. im not finding much on search about it besides that it will help a/t cars will someone please fill me in a little bit more?

Re: torque converter?? ('D' is for Dignified)
the torque converter will (design depending) allow you to bring the revs up higher for a good launch or "grab" stronger and hold more power than the stock unit which is designed for OEM power levels and daily driving not drag racing.
