Default Topic not covered in the almighty brake thread

I got the proportioning valve from a 2nd gen teg, looks like it'll bolt up and it's got 40/40 stamped on it. That'll be fine for my 92 CX when I put the rear discs on right?

Also, while searching through the junkyard I noticed that there were a lot of 2nd gen tegs whose master cylinders looked like they would bolt up to my lines with ease. Did they have abs? and does anyone know if the MCs from 90-93 tegs work well with civics that have teg brakes? Thanks

I was going to answer the first half of your question, but then decided to throw out the link again....

the early style tegs were a lot of RS models and GS, in which RS had rear discs but no ABS, so the prop would be 4040 and the master cyl would be 15/16ths and yes they would bolt up. basically taking the booster and cyl together as a combo.

Thanks man, that's what I figured.

Awesome, that's what I was hoping to hear. Do you happen to know if any of the 90-93 tegs had abs? I didn't seem to run into any.
