top speed question, h22 civic?
odd question, tried searching.
What do you think (ball-park) top speed of a ej h22 civic would be?
Would a h22 civic have a chance to get to 150mph before a mustang GT?
sorry for the odd questions, in a little dispute with someone.

Re: top speed question, h22 civic?
My friend got his H22A EG8 ('95 4dr LX) up to 146 MPH; according to his Pivot. He might have been able to go a little faster, but some lady pulled out right in front of him, so he had to slam on the brakes. But there are some variables that come into play. Are you using a JDM or USDM ECU? The JDM ECU had a speed limiter, which I believe limits the speed to somewhere around 125 MPH. Also, which transmission are you using? For all any one knows, you could be using an H-series or an F-series transmission.

Re: top speed question, h22 civic?
H23 trans
The ecu has been tuned. there is a 100 shot of n2o but I dont want to add that as a factor.
its a h22a4 with type S pistons, the short ratio h23 trans and a few bolt-on I/H/E.
In a EJ8.
thanks for your inputs.
Im sure it will go 150, but will it get there very slowly or fairly quick?
