top of radiator is leaking after replacing it with 1.1 radiator CAP. Details inside.
vehicle: 94 honda civic ex coupe d16z6 engine.
I picked up a new radiator cap (c.s.t. Cooling systems technologies model 7037)at autozone. I installed it and after some spirited driving, I noticed that the top of the radiator was slowly leaking. did I get the wrong cap? I replaced it because my mechanic told me that my old one was broken. I notice that there is a spring in the radiator cap whole. Do I use this spring and the new radiator cap? Or is that spring broken from my old cap?

lastly, if I need to replace my radiator, what would be best for spirited daily driving no autox. all aluminum, HOnda OEM, aftermarket (autozone, napa,etc etc?

not a bad cap just doubled checked it. the leak is coming from the radiator itself. Thinking about dropping 150 for a mishimoto rad.
