how do you find top dead center on a d15y7?

"the spark plug hole" he's referring to is the spark plug hole of cylinder #1.

That's all the way to the right (furthest from the dizzy) when looking at the engine FROM the FRONT of the car.

Put in a long screw driver and turn the crank until its at its highest point, if it starts to go back down - you went too far.

1 and 4 should b the same.. so just make sure that your using the ones from the ouside and not the 2 inner ones

the timing gear only goes on one way, it is marked with a line and a v on the block
