ok, there exists a method to check the fuel pressure?

my injectors are B16A2 stock (240cc) but they do much noise, I don't know if it's normal

i would check the intake manifold for leaks, make sure the idle control valve is properly attached, etc. as for running rich, your "spoon" ECU is probably dumping tons of fuel

the IM don't have any leak, I have check it, the iacv is well to fix and I have cleaned it, the valve of iacv functions too

The problem is not the ECU spoon because I had the same problems with a P28 chipped

I have the problem only at the idle it make up and down ans it stall, when the engine run it #1

make sure there's no air in the coolant system... also make sure you don't have vacuum leaks

check fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge

my spark plug was to change two weeks ago and it's all black now

when the car is at the idle it smells gas extremely, when I run it never smells

I have make several purging of coolant and the problem is always there, I have to check after a leak with dry hair everywhere on the IM and the throttle and there is no leak anywhere, I've check every hose one by one and all is ok.

As you say, I also think that the problem must come from a defective frp

it's worth it to buy a fuel pressure gauge to check the fuel pressure. when you start building the engine, you'll need to get an fpr, etc.

yes, but in my setup I have to estimate that it were not necessary to put an adjustable fpr, my fpr is oem and I have never to change it

but it is true that is better to have an adjustable frp but with the original spec, like that one has the gauge to be able to control the psi

you thinks that that would come from my fpr?? However my fpr it's stock, therefore it could be defective?

forget the fpr for a second... get a fuel pressure gauge and check your fuel pressure

you can either get the fuel pressure tester "tool" or attach a gauge on top of your fuel filter... on my setup, i went with the fuel pressure gauge on top of my filter.. this way i can just look under the hood and see my fuel pressure without messing around attaching the gauge

you can get a gauge from ebay for around $20-30 shipped... if you can, find one that is liquid filled

Ok I have install a ajustable fuel pressure regulator, when I adjust the pressure around than 10 psi the idle is really really perfect it does not move but the car runs very badly

And when I adjust the pressure around + 35 psi the idle is very very bad, it die at the lights all the times, but the car runs very very well...!

How that be done??
