Tokico kit or ?
I put in a set of Eibach Pro Kit a long time ago to lower the car 1.4 inch front and 1.2 inch rear. The shocks are stock Honda. The springs have settled quite a bit and the ride is much rough now than it was when I first got them. I was just thinking about getting Tokico shocks or even the kit. Got a few questions though:
1. Say I want to keep the Eibach Pro Kit, which Tokico shock is best?
2. If I have to replace the Eibach springs, which Tokico shock or shock/spring combination?
Thanks!

1. the illumina's and blues are both good struts... i dont think you'd be disappointed with either of them... the koni yellows are also a good strut as well as the kyb's
2. eibach's are the best spring on the market according to most people... i dont know anyone that isnt happy with them... i chose to go with tein super streets and i like it... my car is lowered over 2" and the ride quality still isnt bad
a lot of people on here like the ground control coilover/koni yellow setup... personally i have never had any experience with it
do some research if you go with a different setup... there are plenty of helpful threads in the archives

Re: Tokico kit or ? (snatch13)
How hard is it to replace the struts myself? What special tools do I need?
I was looking at camber kit from Eibach. Damn! They are expensive! To do both front and rear would cost ~$200.

saying this with an accent. "You can do it!"
A good metric set, breaker bar (impact gun would be great!), and a spring compressor for springs (can use from most local parts store w/ deposit which is fully returned when part is returned)

or go to a local shop..and ask them if u can use their spring compressor
i paid the guy $20 for all 4 to get them off....then another $10 for me to use it to compress the new springs and bolt the new setup back up.. took me 20 mins
if they say no, then buy a spring compressor $40-60......and spend a good amount of hrs doing it
