Tokico Illumina coilovers?
Has anyone used these coilovers? What do you guys think about them? They are 500 for a set and just wondered what you guys thought. How do they compare to Tein or JIC? Or what do you think about just going Eibach sportline springs and Tokico blues? Let me know thanks

I have installed them on a 95 Ls teg and a 95 cx hatch with b16. Pretty nice for the money. The Ls integra ripped at auto-x, great traction. They are not super stiff, they ride kinda like the teinSS and have similar build quality (steel body, simple design, ugly welds etc..) The adjustable dampening has a pretty good range too. Both cars ride pretty smooth for how low we had them. the integra was driven about 5000 very hard miles with lots of pot holes and rough roads with no problems.
i would recommend them especially for 5 bills. they don't have any warranty but who cars at that price.
btw they are called 'Illumina R coilovers' tokico says they are designed for auto-x and have stiffer dampening than the regular illuminas..peas

Ohhh...In that case I have it on my EG hatch and loves it. It works just like having those 5-ways adjustable illumina shocks mount on their own competition adjustable coilover springs, I think it works great on my hatch...infact it is far better than my stockers. The best part is that its cheap and have the adjustable treaded on the shock, instead of sleeves. Ebay is cheaper than on the groupbuy, unless groupbuy offer free S/H.

Tokico illumina 5-ways adjustable shocks are nice!!...not sure how many ways of adjustment on the KYB's though.

the ones in the pictures ARE the tokico illumina R coilovers - height and ride adjustable. did you call the guy to clarify? if thats not what he's selling that is some blatant false advertising.

the picture is NOT of sleve style coilovers. that is exactly how the illumina Rs look. you would have had to have seen them before to know.

You have to scroll to the bottom of the page, the coilovers are 750 shipped and the Illumina Suspension Kit is 499 which is the shocks and springs, still not a bad deal at all. The KYB's are 4 way adjustable but not as good as the Illumina's in my opinion.
