Hey guys, could I get some advice here?

The bolt in the picture circled in yellow is pretty much spinning freely.

It is the bolt that adjusts rear toe. From the compensator arm into the chassis.

Where are the threads that hold this bolt in? As you can see in the pic, there is a closed off metal compartment hiding everything.

Is there a nut welded inside the compartment that might have broken loose?

I am trying to figure out the best way to fix this. Do I need to cut a hole in the metal compartment? (Where the green square is)

yea you need to cut that green compartment open, and it'll be right there

Hey thanks for the reply.

Now that I had more time to research the problem, I see a lot of people cutting holes in their interior floor to rethread some kind of nut back on "track".

If I need to do this, why not cut the compartment outside the car? Is that compartment with the green square important to the structural integrity of the rear suspension?

This seems like a really dumb design to me.
