Default Today's projects (not too bad 56k should be ok)

i did 2 things today... i built Bret's DIY trunk brace.. and for those that wonder if it accually helps.. it does.. at first i thought that it might just be me thinking that it was workin.. but then i took it on as nice winding road and on the turns the rear end feels much different than it does without it. and the other thing is the GSR strut bar... i wrinkle coated it though.. oh yea and i wrinkle coated the trunk brace too. here is a link to the trunk brace How-To for those that dont know

http://www.geocities.com/bretq/DIY_trunk_brace.html

and here are a few pictures of the finished products...

and before anyone asks what the red paint on the trunk panel.. to make a long story short.. my paintball gun went off in my trunk and the **** has never come out

First time I've ever seen a Del Sol trunk... Too bad about the paintball incident though. Did you notice any difference in handling at all?

I thought a Sol's trunk was smaller than that

it does... and everything for the trunk bar minus the wrinkle paint only cost me $13 and some change

del sol trunks are bigger than u would think. the top fits in there with room to spare. i put 3 wheel/tires back there and one in the passenger seat when i got my rims. love my trunk space.

oh btw: nice trunk brace... i might try it!
