tires/alignment question
about a month and a half ago, i put itr springs on my ej coupe. today i noticed that the inner tire is worn more than the outside. 1) will getting an alignment correct this problem? if so, 2) will I need to get another alignment after I put some aftermarket shocks on (on stock ex shocks now)? and in order to get the tires to wear out more even, should I go somewhere to have my tires flipped(my tires are kumho 712 directionals)? the tires have 2k miles on them and about 1k miles after swapping over to itr springs from stock ex springs... give me advice!

Re: tires/alignment question (VTEC CX)
I would be willing to bet your camber is just fine. I am at-1.75 in front and I dont have any cambered tires.
The key is getting your toe in/out set as close to zero. that will keep your tires from scrubbing out.

Re: tires/alignment question (tonyxcom)
thanks guys, so what should i do? get alignmnt asap or wait til shocks (maybe within the month, maybe few months into summer...)? the drop is minimal (around an inch or less) so i am not thinking about camber kit?

Just get your car aligned and tires rotated.
new shocks "shouldnt" require you to get your car realigned. Just keep track of how high your car is with the old shocks, then about 100 miles later on the new shocks. If there is a difference, then get another alignment.

Better get an alignment now or you'll end up buying new tires in the rear pretty soon. I drove ~1500 mi without an alignment after doing the rear disc swap and now my michelins that used to have 80% thread are bald on the inside. I had it aligned last week at Firestone for $149 for lifetime alignment. Just drop by in the morning and they'll get it done in an hour.
