Default Tires?

I did a search and could not find the info. i was looking for...

I'm going to order some 15" rota slipstreams here in about a week but wanted to know what tire you guys recommended. I want an all around good tire. Needs to be good in crappy weather, have good tread ware, and give me some good traction on the street and the track. Im thinking 205/50/15.

Am I asking alittle to much out of a tire?

Thanks

Falken Azenius, great tires for daily driver and weekend track warrior.
Also, I used to love my A520, awesome grip on dry and wet. The only thing is they are loud as hell.

Maybe not. Got a set of 195/50 R 15's on mine, and I'm very, very happy. Super wet traction. Seems to have good dirt/rock traction. Who knows about snow yet.

Good luck.

what do you guys think about Nitto 450s?
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s?

I found out that the Falken Azenis Sport are only good for dry traction.

The most troublesome parameter you gave in your original message was

"needs to be good in crappy weather"

This implies an "all season" tread.

This is very difficult to get on a performance tire. I only know of two, Dunlops and Goodyears - NOT particularly known to be super sticky, but I like my SP5000's a lot.

Are you willing to give up "all season" traction? (i.e. snow, mud, sand traction).

Nitto 450's, Kumho's, and Falkens all handle like crap in the snow. So, what exactly do you want?

Shawn

Well I will be living in seattle for the next 4 years (very wet, all the damn time). I guess i might just have to get 2 pair of wheels and tires to swap on and off.

Any other suggestions?
