Tires for 16" Rota's
I need a set of tires for 16" Rota Circuit 8's. I'm not going to be doing any road racing or anything of that such, so I just need some decent tires, preferably low profile. Azenis seem to be pretty cheap, but I've heard the tread life sucks? Got any suggestions? I'm not looking to buy the most expensive tires either.

Whatever you can find in 215/40, which is limited. Remember wider is better. I like my Nitto NT-450s, they are reasonably priced.

Re: Tires for 16" Rota's (BucsJosh)
Well I put them on first week in June.. it's been about 5,000 miles. I havent had them rotated yet, but I see no wear yet, and I bought the car with a shitty 1.5" or so drop, which appears to be only lowering springs. No camber wear though.. They are much better than the "stock" like $35 specials I had before. They catch quick even when i rev up to about 4,000 or so, and I can't even chirp 2nd anymore(possibly clutch related), but I could before easily.

Re: Tires for 16" Rota's (just a civic)
i have 205/45/16 falken ziex 512 on my slips and they are decent street/everyday tires... they just don't seem to last very long.
i want to try these tires next... everyone seems to like them.

I bought the AVS ES100s based on the opinions of this thread (I have 15s)

The falken Azenis are know to have poor (dangerous?) wet traction characteristics. Since you are not looking for a performance tire, you should have a good range of conditions that the tire is functional in.
My tactic on tires is to go to tirerack.com, pick out your tires. find an authorized isntaller, and then attempt to buy the tires DIRECT from the installer at the tirerack.com price (the dealer makes more money that way, than if he was paid the 20 bucks just to install the tires.)
Although, that doesn't sound like a bad price for 4 16s.
