Default Tires for 14" HX wheels

Right now I'm running some cheap generic "General Touring" tires on my HX's. They are 185/65, but the sidewalls look too big. Are there any other 185/65 tires that would look smaller? Running something like 195/60 would throw off my speedometer or odometer wouldnt it? Any recomendations on all season 14" tires? I also really like the treadwear rating of my current tires (500). I just need an all season tire that would look like it has smaller sidewalls and have good treadwear.

195/60's would have a slightly smaller sidewall, but remember the 195/60 means that the sidewall is 60% of 195, which is 117, whereas for the 185/65's its 120.

Your speedometer is properly set up for a wheel that is about 22.5" finding a tire with a different sized firewall will throw off your speedo.

So I guess I'm stuck with 185/65..Any recomendations on tires that wouldn't look like it had too big of a sidewall? I've seen some that are like that. My buddies michelin xgt v4's are 185/65 and look like they have a smaller than mine. But then again those wheels suck fron experience.

run a 195 60 Azenis. Who cares about the speedo. You're going to have crazy tire flex with such a big wall. Even with the 60 series. It would be nice to run a 195-55-14. Increase the final drive ratio and handle better

Well I'd like to have my speedo telling me what speed I'm going. How much would it be off by?

whats 117/120...less than 3 percent. So, at 100, it will say 103, and at 50, say 51.5. Not a big deal. Besides, Azenis measure wider than normal.
