Default Tire sizes and hub bore question

I want to get some wheels for my 98 honda civic ex. I am looking at konig lace 16x7 with +.40mm offset and a 73.1 hub bore. My questions are what tire size is best for my wheels and year of my car? And do i need to get hub centric rings for correct fitment?

205/45/16 or 215/45/16 will be the closest to the same diameter as your stock wheels/tires.

Yes, you'll want hub centric rings.
