Tire Size Recommendation
Hey guys,
Just wondering what size tire you would suggest to go on a set of 15" blades....they will be on a 2000 civic sedan.
Thanks in advance.

Azenis are pretty hard to beat. Although they do sound like a jeep on thornbirds. That's what is on my 98' Hatch that's for sale.

shouldn't be too much a difference in the 50 or 55 series. for a regular tire size, go with the 195's. for a wider grip, then go up to the 205's. the azeni's have a tall sidewall i believe so you may rub with an aggressive drop. the es100's, you should be fine.

werd I rock 205/50/15 azenis for spirited driving and 205/50/15 nitto nt450's for daily and big difference in both tires.......not in performance but in the stance of the car and the fender well filling for lack of words...

92-95 civs dont' have the same stock tire size as 96-00 civs. 01+ civs are even bigger.

would u actually have sidewalls with 15/15??? hehehe jk
anyways, 205/50/15's are probably the best choice for streets as long as your car is not overly dumped

The rims currently have a set of Bridgestone Potenza's on them (two of which are shot) and i'm pretty sure they are 195/55/15.
I just wanted to get some input before i decided to go ahead and buy new ones.
The car is currently at stock ride height but should soon be dropped on GC's.
Thanks for all the replies guys.

Yea i ran those Khumo's for the past few seasons....i say good bang for the buck for sure.
Reason i am looking at BS Potenza's is because my bladest have two new ones on them.

Re: Tire Size Recommendation (hondasport2000)
I think the best size is for you car would be 195/55/15. A lot of people run 205/50/15, but that will affect your speedometer so I personally wouldn't use it. What kind of Potenzas are on two of your wheels? I have Bridgestone Potenza RE010s on my car. They offer excellent grip and you will never hear a chirping sound in hard cornering. The only drawbacks in my opinion are that they are $123 each and only last about 15,000 miles. These are the tires that come stock on the ITR.
