##### Tire Reviews?
Alright, I need to get tires soon so I wanted to ask you guys for help. Its for a Daily Driver, in Socal. I am not really knowlegable about tires. But I my tires are Falken Ziexs 205-50-15 right now. I do have camber wear ( Cut Tein S techs springs/ 1 1/2 finger gap with skunk2 front camber kit) and I was wondering if 195-50-15 would reduce my camber wear. And what tires should I get next? Which is really worth its price? heres a poll. please participate. thanks for the help.

We need to know your application better. What are you going to use this car for?????
That being said. They wear kinda fast, but I LOVED my Avon MTech 500. STICKY tires, but wore kinda fast.
I'm happy with my General Exlaims right now, but more of a rain tire, but again, I live in ohio.

You need to solve your camber problems before you go dumping a bunch of money on new rubber. Get some new springs or coilovers and an alignment and you won't have to worry about if something else will solve your problem. BTW, no, a 195/50 R15 won't decrease camber wear.

falken ziex tires suck imo. ive had some dunlop sp8000's or 9000's i cant remember but ive heard they are both good either way, and thus far they are my favorite tires. kuhmos are cheap but i thought they sucked in the rain. it doesnt rain much here but when it did they sucked ***.

Ditch the cut springs and ride on a proper setup. Get some UCAs to fix your camber problem and then buy new tires.
I think all of this has been stated before but I just wanted to say it anyways

I have falken ziex, The good things i can say about them are they are great in the rain, and they are cheap. I know bfggoodrich geforce kdwa is a good tire, doesn't come in 15" i don't think though. Kuhmo exsta supra was a good tire but they are discontinued now. Kuhmo is a good brand in my opinion

If you have uncut tein s. techs you do not have camber wear. Your toe is out of spec.
I had H&R races on my old car for 20,000 miles with no camber adjustment and My tires wore evenly.

Yeah, they are cut but just little. Its not dumped. The camber isnt even that bad, since its like a 1 1/2 finger gap. I also have a front camber kit. Yes this car is Daily Driver and I live in Socal so it barely rains if that helps.

Re: (Syndacate)
I was going to say check out tire rack. You can read cust reviews on every tire they have. Just remember the lower the wear number the more quickly the tire will wear (softer compound). It really comes down to what kind of driving you want to do how much you want to spend, and how often you are willing to replace your tires.

Re: (instructor74)
Wear numbers are only valid within a particular manufacturer though. A tire with a 200 rating from Manufacturer A normally doesn't wear at the same rate as a tire with a 200 rating from Manufacturer B. It's an often overlooked sore spot that makes comparing different makes very annoying - you can really only use those numbers to judge wear ratings from a single manufacturer.
Personally I'm pretty happy with my Yokohama ES100s, but at 195/60R14 there just aren't a whole lot of choices for summer-only tires. I loved the Yoko AVS-Is, but they killed those guys off ages ago.

Re: ##### Tire Reviews? (em1foyoass)
if you have bad camber wear than the most costliest tires arent gonna do you any good, might as well buy the cheapo brands (caliente) so you u can replace 3 times a year at 150 a set.

That's nice and all, but if it's taller than his stock tire it will alter his gearing and make the car slower and handle worse.

Re: (ek forever guy)
if you don't mind spending some money, I like my toyo proxes, would have gotten yokahama's or brg's if I wouldn't have gotten a great deal on the proxes.

Re: ##### Tire Reviews? (em1foyoass)
I've had Falken, Kuhmo, and BFG's. i would rate them as kuhmo being the best all around tire and lasting the longest, and BFG and Falken being average. Kuhmo just had deeper tread to begin with and were good in the rain.
