Default tire patching

has anyone gotten a tire patched that could not be patched? i went to a place and they said they couldnt patch it but i got it patched somewhere else. is there anything to worry about at high speeds or fast cornering?

As long as it is near center of the tire and not too close to the sidewall a patch is ok. Most places wont do patches if they are too close to the side wall because of the amount of flex the sidewall has the patch might fail. If its away from the sidewall you shoult be fine.

there is proly a reason it couldnt be patch.... if it was on any high flex area the patch will gfet fucked up and you could have a blow out...

it was near the center of the tire. one place said they couldnt cause it was a tad bit bigger than a quarter inch. to me it doesnt seem like its even a quarter inch but oh well. the other place patched it up and its held so far. ive driven on it at 85 mph or so. i usually dont go much faster than that. its also held up with a couple fast turns ive done. its on the passenger side rear tire. i wanna hit up a curvy road soon so thats why im asking if it will hold up to something like that.

patching a tire is fine. if it's in the center then you are really really good. just make sure that you keep an eye on the pressure.
