Tire load rating? UHP rating lower than OE rating?
I'm just about ready to order a set of 205/45/16 Kumho 712 tires to mount on my 2000 Civic Hatchback. The OE tires have a load rating of 85 (1135 lbs.) while the Kumho's have a load rating of 83 (1074 lbs.). You would figure an ultra high performance tire would have a higher load rating.
Will the difference in load rating be negligable, or will this cause a safety problem?
Thanks for any help.

No problems will come from this when buying tires the company who sells them will tell you weather or not you can run a certain tire.
