Default Tips for removing side moldings on an EK?

i want to take my side moldings off without breaking them. do you guys have any tips for removing the side moldings on an EK? i know that theres a bolt holding the side molding that is on the door. other than that is the rest just clips?

what about putting them back on? just pop them back on and viola?

also, does anyone have the HONDA diagram of the side moldings with the location of the clips?

thanks in advance!

most side moldings are clipped just take yourtime with them and dont rush then you get broken moldings......I would use a towel and a screwdriver towel for your car then just pry be careful and sometimes it feels like they r going to bust but they dont (hopefully) good luck

Wow, what an original username.

But great advise nonetheless.

skrew that, it is much easier to take the moldings off from the inside. it might seem stupid to take off the door panels but it actually saves time and head aches in the long run

yup, just take off the door panel, and squeeze the clip from the inside, but for the back half, just use a towel and a screwdriver.

Actually Honda sells some clip remover tool...it's only like 15 dollars or so...but for the front half just undo that bolt and then it should slide off!
