plenty of people have done it..and most just use some smoke/tint spray paint from your local hobbyshop..it is removeable..but im sure youre going to mess up your tail lights from using different types of liquids to take it off..to my knowledge..it is illegal(at least here in ca)..being the fact that youre making your tail lights harder to see at night..

As long as the actual red reflector part of the tail light is left untinted it's technically legal, but still likely to get you harassed. Night Shades works well as long as you spray clear over the finished product.

i went by a Pro-tint place. and i asked the same thing. can they be tinted. Technically. yes. but if u tint the outside. it wont hold up to weather and rocks and shyt. and if u tint the inside of the light. it will burn from the heat of the light. my suggestion. buy some stock nice clean headlights. nothing looks better then the way it came out of honda(except for engine, rims, and **** like that.)

I tinted the tail lights on my Jeep with the Night Shades spary. Came out fairly dark looking yet still puts out enough light. I've never been bothered about them.

I tried using a spray tint, but it flaked off and faded after only 2 months.

here's a site that sells the transparent vinyls(IE: not colored window tint like some places try to sell) I bought their smoked and red out waiting for it to arrive(just ordered yesterday)

http://www.decalfx.com

edit...never heard anything bad about laminx, just found this place first.
