Timing and Idle Questions
I have a 93 Civic Si w/ a B17 motor and a 2000 Si Tranny. I had the timing belt done on it and I noticed when i was servicing the tranny the distributor was all the way advanced. When i checked the timing its only at 10 degrees. Did the shop screw up on the timing belt?
Secondly, When the car is cold you can rev the car to approx 1500 rpms and then it will drop as if you took your foot off the gas. Then rev back up. However, once the car warms up this goes away. I checked the intake to amke sure the coolent lines were hooked up and everything was a'ok.
Currently the car is running a skunk P72 ECU. I tried swapping it w/ a stock PR3 ECU and the car would barly hold Idle
