Default timing helppppppppppppp

jdm b16 in my hatch ok the car runs smooth but only has power with the dist... turned all the way to thye firewall and oin the highway feels like it only has power untill im up in the rps then falls out mostly in 4th it only pulls so much then kinda just stays if i move the dist... the car still runs smooth but has a majour loss in power its really a dog but still aounds like timings on does not run roughf but can my timing still be off just a little and still run smooth i mean some people think it runs great but compared to other b16s its like a dx in a 10,000 lbd car lol also i have no o2 hooked up i just orderd my new one but my othger car ran good w/o it anyway but i dont no what should i look for ?????

PUt it back.. sounds like you have no clue what you are doing.. Not a wise choice moving your distributor like that without having the proper maps set up for it.

Get a Timing Light and set it to 16* and adjust your distributor back to stock.

And Your main issue is because Your 02 sensor is not hooked up.. so that means you are throwing a CEL..

a o2 sensor is a very critical sensor in the engine. it lets the ecu know if you are running rich or lean. and it will auto fix its self in lean conditions. But since you dont have a o2 sensor hooked up you are running in limp mode that means your car is Pulling timing and its dumping quite a bit of fuel. Get your new sensor in. and put your timing back to stock. then pull the ECU fuse and Reset the ECU. then your car will run 10x better

thanks yeah i do kno what im doing and i am waiting on my new o2 but the timing is on the money but can something be making the t..marks not accurate cam gears, cut head anything i mean its all stock but i bought it from the net so i dont no where it was b4 i got it .. but thanks for the help i kno the dist.. aint cool where it is but its the only way the car gets up an going but good lookin thanks
