Timing Help ASAP!
Here's the pics of the cam gears and the crank pulley. I just need confirmation that the timing belt is off. To get it correct, all I need to do is move the crank so that it is aligned with the crank/cover marking correct? Please confirm that what I am doing is accurate and correct. Thanks!

Or, to line up the timing belt do I need to remove the cranklpulley and actually line it up with the marks on the engine block???

Remove timing belt, or loosen it up, align crank pulley with mark, align cam gears. Put belt back on, tighten it up ( watch the cam gears, sometimes they will move a little before the pulley moves )
Also don't really go by the UP marks, go by the middle marks in the cam gears. A lot of people will point the UP marks straight up, when in reality the up marks will point a little forward.
And you're done.

throw a timing light on it and see how bad its off. loosen the 3 bolts on the distributor and adjust till it lines up with the white mark (i think its the white mark)

Re: (D21X)
I tried to adjust the timing belt with the motor in, but some how, I cant get the belt on tight enough. For example, on the intake cam gear the belt will be tight, and on the exhaust cam gear it will be loose. Whenever it gets warmer, I do plan on removing the motor, so i have easier access to the entire side of the motor.

too much work for timing bro .
just lossen the belt, or take it off, put the crank timing the white mark directly down the arrow (in your first picture, you have to turn the pulley clockwise a bit. Then your 2 cam gears line up 100 percent and put the belt on.
Then turn the crank pulley counter clockwise so the exhaust side of the belt is pretty tight, and its loose on the intake side. The tensioner is on the intake side so the tensioner should tighten the intake side. So now both sides should be tight.

It looks like you may be off by one tooth on the crank sprocket. your crank is rotated past tdc, and the two cam pulleys look like they are a little retarded(from the two marks in the center).
