Default Timing covers NEED X Reference

I just check the lower timing cover part number for a 94 GSR 11810-pr3-010
Its also the same for the DEL-SOL but its different for the TYPE-R ? WTF! The reason I ask is because I need all of them but the lower one is the most important right now.

I'm using a 99 GSR Bottom end with a 94 DEL-SOL B16 head its sounds kinda stupid but I need to make sure I get the right ones. The reason I cross reference the GS-R numbers with the Honda is my friend is the parts manager at Honda so not for the discount but more because the Acura dealer is 30min away the Honda dealer is 5 min away.

type r has provisions for the CKF.
the obd1 del sol vtec and obd1 gsr should fit the same, but i am 100% positive that the type r has provisions for the CKF as they didnt make an obd1 type r.

UNLESS you have a jdm r, and in that case the covers are the same as the obd1 gsr del sol v cover.

basically you need to use the cover for the pump you have

USDM type r pump = usdm type r lower cover
jdm r, obd1 del dol v/gsr = obd1 dohc vtec cover

hope that all makes sense.

Good looking because its going into a obd-1 car i took off the CKF so I will get the del sol covers with the GSR mid plate because I know the deck is a little taller so that one will cover the mid section.

So I've been doing some searching, and I'm in the same boat as the OP. I'm going to be swapping in a 2000 b18c5 block and using a b16a head. What timing covers do I need to use? I have all my original jdm b16a covers but I'm pretty sure the lower cover won't work.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
