Timing belt shaking... normal?
I just bought this car a week ago, and it didn't come with an upper timing cover... I was removing all the wiring for the system that used to be in it, and noticed the ecu wasnt secured in the process, so I bolted it back up and started the car to make sure i didn't loosen any wiring. I looked at the timing belt and noticed the belt will vibrate or shake during idle and vibrate even more when revving the motor. It's a b16a2. Just want to know if this is normal, or if I should slap a new belt and tensioner on it just to be safe?

No, that is not normal. Does the belt have excess play in it, or is the cam pulley wobbling? If its the belt, sounds like a new belt and tensioner would fix the problem.

Re: Timing belt shaking... normal?
With the engine off, the tensioned side has very little play, but the untensioned side has a bit too much i would think. I didnt notice any of the cam pulleys wobbling at all, they seem pretty sturdy... Anyone have a website to recommend for ordering oem parts?
